The general schedule for a GSA ArtShop is as follows:

9:30 – 9:55 a.m.     STUDENT REGISTRATION

10:00 – 10:30 a.m.     WELCOME
All parents and teachers are invited to join their students for this special welcome session to learn more about the The Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA).  We will also introduce you to the ArtShop instructors.

10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.     STUDENT WORKSHOPS BEGIN (note: parents/teachers are not permitted in the classroom/studio space)

10:30 a.m. – 12: 00 p.m.   PARENT/TEACHER WORKSHOP (optional)
A special workshop for parents and teachers about GSA’s summer program.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions to members of GSA Administration.  After this workshop, there are no more scheduled activities for parents/teachers until student pick-up at 4:00 p.m.  Parents/teachers are not permitted to sit in on the student workshops.

12:30 – 1:00 p.m.     STUDENT LUNCH BREAK (GSA provides pizza for all students)

1:00 – 4:00 p.m.     STUDENT WORKSHOPS (continued)

4:00 p.m.     WORKSHOPS END
Parents and teachers return to pick up students at registration site.
