Notification Process
All students who participate in auditions/reviews for GSA’s summer program will receive a letter in mid-April notifying them of their acceptance status (postmarked from GSA’s Louisville offices on Friday, April 12, 2013). This information will not be emailed or given over the phone, and please remember that mail delivery times may vary based on where you live.
GSA does identify alternates for each art form. Being indentified as an alternate is an honor that acknowledges some of the most talented young artists in our state. There is no set number of alternates, and alternates will not be notified of their ranking on the alternate list. Any alternates who are pulled up from the alternate list and invited to the summer program will be contacted by GSA as soon as possible by phone. Please do not contact GSA to ask where you are on the alternate list.
GSA does not provide feedback on the audition process. If you are a sophomore and plan to audition for GSA next year, please review the audition tips on our website (click on the appropriate link below). These guidelines are provided by GSA faculty and are a clear indication of the audition expectations in each art form.
