The Fourth of July was a cloudy/spotted showers kind of day in Lexington, but sleeping in late and a day of free time is rare at GSA, so everyone had a blast. There was a carnival, games, ice cream, pizza, and an all-school African Dance Workshop. The rain kept the fireworks away, but not the fun! I’ll let these images speak for themselves…

Until tomorrow, this is GSA ’08 intern Laura Lamping Greenwell signing off.

Dancer Courtney Martin uses her ballet training to gracefully lift the pizza off of the plate.

RA Erin Ruhl was very proud of the pepperoni pieces on her pizza.

Vocalist Derek Roberts wanted a red white and blue wig to wear too, but he settled for a piece of string tied around his head.

CRS Anton Tooma and RA Chris Conner missed each other during the few minutes that separated them in the pizza line.
