This morning Kevin Flores, GSA’s photographer and documentarian, showed an excerpt from the GSA Video Yearbook he has been working on throughout the program. The video yearbook features each discipline and Kevin’s interviews with students capture the personality of this GSA class of 2008.

The students rehearsed all day today in preparation for tomorrow—graduation and the Final Day Performance Festival. We also had a visit from the GSA Advisory Council, which met on campus so that they could see the almost finished project of GSA.

Later the students practiced for Graduation and several of the RA’s spoke about what it was like for them to go back home after GSA. Although their stories were all different, they all agreed that the hardest part about going home after GSA was that their friends and family couldn’t understand or didn’t believe how truly life-changing this three week program really is.

To finish off the night the RA’s had the audience in stitches during the RA Skit. As the students walked back for their final night at Forrer Hall, phone numbers, email addresses, and the Creative Writer’s chap-books were exchanged. It is hard to believe that the end is already here.

Until tomorrow, this is GSA ’08 intern Laura Lamping Greenwell signing off.

The RAs line up to take a bow after their skits.

The RAs present: the GSA Klezmer Project!
I'm not even sure that this was a skit (maybe it was a scene change?), but Chris Conner cracked up the audience with some good old fashioned physical comedy.

"I come from...RAINBOWS." Chris Conner, Jason Newsome, and Sean Lair performed a hysterical spoof of Becoming Woman.
Too Darn Hot Mess: The RAs remember the Dance Wars Smorg.
