Scholarship Opportunities

Because GSA alumni are talented and driven individuals who want to make a difference in their communities, 20 colleges and universities (both inside and outside of Kentucky) offer the following scholarships opportunities to GSA alumni.  While GSA alumni are great candidates for many schoalrships, each of the following opportunities are specific to completion of GSA’s summer program.

Are you a college/university that would like to attract Kentucky’s best and brightest by joining this list? Let us know at gsainfo@kentuckycenter.org.

Note: The scholarship opportunities available to GSA alumni are administered by the colleges/universities and NOT by the Governor’s School for the Arts. GSA can only verify your attendance to the summer program. Please directly contact the Admissions Office with questions and to inquire about what paperwork must be completed for each school you are interested in – do not assume that the school will automatically know you are a GSA alumnus and provide you with a scholarship. Remember that deadlines for eligibility may mean that ALL the necessary documents must be completed and in their office on that date. Each school has different requirements. The earlier you know what they require to process your GSA scholarship and to learn about other scholarships that you might qualify for, the easier the process will be. Call early and often to inquire about all the specifics of the college application process.
